Plant & Tool Hire Technician

As part of our expansion, we’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Hire Controller to join the team at this cutting-edge Depot. At HIREBASE, we take pride in offering an extensive range of top-quality plant and tool hire, designed to meet the needs of everyone—from skilled tradespeople to DIY enthusiasts and self-builders. With over 90 branches across the nation and big plans for future growth, we’re eager to welcome self-motivated individuals who are ready to be a part of our exciting journey!
What will I be doing?
Assist with deliveries & collections.
Support with testing & running equipment, which includes preparing and maintaining equipment, keeping machinery clean and in working condition.
Keep all hire fleet maintenance records up to date and organized, ensuring we are always ready to deliver the best service.
Maintain the Depot and Workshop, ensuring they are spotless, tidy, and safe to create an efficient working environment.
Assist the Hire Manager with annual stock takes, audits, and various report-based activities.
Proactively safeguard our company’s assets and prevent theft to ensure a safe and trusted environment for our operations.
Provide exceptional customer service, assisting our customers in person at the Depot or over the phone with energy and enthusiasm.
Deliver outstanding customer service every time, ensuring our customers leave satisfied and eager to return!
Hours:
Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings 8am-12pm What’s in it for me? Competitive salary. Company bonus scheme. 31 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
