Job Type: Part-time Location: East London/Essex Working Hours: 21.6 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) Start Date: ASAP (long-term sickness cover) We are seeking a qualified Plastering PMO Trainer-Coach to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in teaching and assessing in a college environment, particularly with apprentices. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in plastering and property maintenance. Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in plastering and property maintenance to apprentices. Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Prepare educational materials and lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, assessments, and progress. Collaborate with other faculty members to improve teaching methods and expand the curriculum. Ensure compliance with college policies and industry standards in all teaching activities. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
Qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training). Level 2 qualifications in Plastering and Property Maintenance/Multi Skills, or separate qualifications in Painting & Decorating, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plumbing. Assessors Qualification. Experience teaching and assessing in a college with apprentices.
Desirable:
Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting. Experience working in an educational establishment.
