We're offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-national Information Management function as a DevOps/Platform Engineer. We're looking for a Kubernetes expert to manage, secure, and enhance our containerised solutions. Duties: Container Management: Deploy, secure, and optimise Docker and Kubernetes environments for rapid application development and testing. Customer Guidance: Lead workshops and advise internal teams on containerised solutions and Kubernetes platform use. Automation & Innovation: Leverage tools like Ansible and GitLab to support IT service automation and shape the future of software-defined data centres within MBDA. Performance & Security: Ensure Kubernetes environment health, scalability, and compliance with security best practices. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Harbor, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Python, GitLab, and Ansible. Strong Linux OS knowledge (particularly RHEL) and automation skills with scripting (Bash, Python). Experience with monitoring and logging tools for platform continuity. Familiarity with security practices for Kubernetes and container maintenance. Knowledge of OpenShift and CI/CD is a plus. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. Ability to conduct training and workshops to educate colleagues on Kubernetes platforms. Salary:
Up to £80,000 Company Bonus:
Bonus of up to 21% of base salary. Pension:
Maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%. Enhanced Parental Leave:
