My client is growing their core IT Platform Team; as a result, they require an expert Linux SME with a focus on automation.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline Linux system management, deployment, and configuration tasks. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and release processes for applications and infrastructure. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Automate the lifecycle management of Linux systems, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and decommissioning. Experience Required
Expert knowledge and experience of Ansible. Experience of writing complex Ansible Playbooks. Expert RHEL 7/8/9 knowledge. Expert experience with using other Red Hat products such as Satellite, OpenShift, iDM, insights, etc. Solid Git knowledge and CI/CD pipeline experience. Experience with Scripting and IaC (Bash, Python, YAML, etc). Working knowledge of vSphere virtualization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background using Red Hat.
