Department Insights

The role is embedded in the ETRM Solutions team (ETRM – Energy Trading and Risk Management) which is responsible for design, build, test, support, and run of modules in RWEST’s Endur platform.

As Platform Engineer, you will work closely with operations colleagues and other IT teams to ensure that our Endur is running reliably. You will use your Cloud and DevOps experience to implement your own concepts with the support of a great team!

Your Responsibilities

You are looking for a challenge that combines your Cloud knowledge with application knowledge.

You are motivated to shape the cloud infrastructure of a major RWEST application, including Infrastructure as Code and Monitoring.

You are open to collaborating closely with various internal and external contacts – application experts, operations experts, RWE IT infrastructure experts, AWS Experts.

You like to continuously improve processes and drive change.

Your Profile

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

Fundamental experience in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or similar).

Deployment tools: Azure DevOps, or similar.

Hands-on experience with IaaS and PaaS in Amazon Web Services, including S3, Lambda, EC2, KMS, IAM, CloudWatch.

Experience with logging and monitoring platforms (ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).

You have a delivery-oriented working style.

You are a team player who can communicate effectively with team members, users, and business representatives at all levels.

You operate calmly in a high-pressure environment, showing a result-oriented working style.
