An industry leading management consultancy are seeking to add aPlatform Engineerwith expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, and Linux to deliver impactful solutions for public sector clients. What Youll Do As a Platform Engineer, youll work closely with clients to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient platforms that support mission-critical services. Youll play a key role in: Platform Design and Implementation:Architecting cloud-native solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to meet complex requirements. Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Creating repeatable and scalable systems through Terraform and other IaC tools. DevOps Enablement:Building CI/CD pipelines and enabling agile development practices. Collaboration and Advisory:Partnering with public sector teams to align technical delivery with organizational goals. Operational Excellence:Ensuring platform reliability, performance, and security through robust monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. What Youll Bring Were seeking a skilled engineer with a blend of technical expertise and consulting acumen. Youll have: Cloud Mastery:Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3) and designing cloud-based architectures. Container Orchestration Expertise:Proven skills in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale. IaC Proficiency:Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Version Control Knowledge:Strong experience with Git for collaborative development. Linux Skills:Deep familiarity with Linux environments, including system administration and scripting. Security Awareness:Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards for the public sector. Consulting Experience:The ability to engage with clients, understand their challenges, and deliver tailored solutions.
