The Role As a Platform Specialist, you'll design, build, and manage Windows systems and virtualization infrastructure. Working with a global team of engineers, you'll deliver impactful projects, optimize systems, and develop advanced automation workflows. Key Responsibilities Windows Infrastructure : Design, build, and manage on-premises and cloud-based Windows systems, including Active Directory. Virtualization : Optimize and oversee the global VMware vSphere and virtualization stack. VDI Systems : Manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) across on-premises and cloud environments. Messaging Platforms : Maintain and enhance the firm's messaging systems. Automation & Analytics : Develop advanced PowerShell workflows for automation, analytics, and self-healing systems. Required Qualifications: 1-5 years of experience in Windows environments. Hands-on experience managing VMware vSphere setups. Familiarity with monitoring and telemetry tools like Prometheus and vRealize Operations/Aria. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python (PowerShell preferred). Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Nice-to-Have: Certifications: MCSE, VMware VCP/VCAP. Skills: OOP (C#, .NET), Infrastructure as Code, configuration tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Experience managing O365 services.
