A leading macro trading organisation is seeking a
Platform Specialist
to join their
Enterprise Windows and Virtualization
team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing cutting-edge infrastructure and collaborating with a team of highly skilled engineers. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage
Windows systems
(on-premises and cloud), including
Active Directory . Optimize and monitor the global
VMware vSphere
virtualization stack. Manage all
VDI-related infrastructure
on-premises and in the cloud. Oversee the organisation’s messaging platforms. Develop advanced
PowerShell
workflows for automation, analytics, and self-healing systems. Required Skills and Experience 1-5 years of experience
in Windows environments. Hands-on experience with
VMware vSphere
setups. Familiarity with systems monitoring tools (e.g.,
Prometheus ,
vRealize Operations ). Proficiency in
PowerShell
scripting (Python experience is a plus). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Certifications such as
MCSE
or
VMware VCP/VCAP . Knowledge of
Infrastructure as Code
(e.g., CI/CD pipelines, source control, and code quality validation). Experience with
configuration management tools
(e.g.,
Ansible ,
Chef ,
Puppet ). Familiarity with
O365 Tenant
and service management. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g.,
C#
or
