Enterprise Platform Specialist – Windows/Virtualization A leading global investment management firm is seeking an
Enterprise Platform Specialist
to join its team of platform engineers. This role focuses on delivering resilient, scalable, and secure Windows and Virtualization platforms critical to the firm’s success. Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize
Active Directory
and related Windows systems. Design, build, and support
Windows infrastructure services
across on-premises and cloud environments. Oversee and enhance global
virtualization platforms , including VMware vSphere. Develop advanced
PowerShell-based automation
workflows for efficiency and self-healing systems. Configure, monitor, and maintain
VDI systems
and cloud images. Define policies, roadmaps, and standards for infrastructure and downstream teams. Ensure hardware lifecycle management and support disaster recovery planning. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovative solutions. Qualifications:
Required: Strong experience with
Microsoft server infrastructure
and
VMware vSphere . Proficiency in developing
PowerShell automation
workflows within CI/CD pipelines. Expertise in system monitoring, production support, and mixed environments. Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science
or equivalent experience. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred: Certifications:
MCSE (Core Infrastructure or Productivity) ,
VMware VCP/VCAP . Experience with
SAN Storage Administration .
