Overview and Purpose of Role:

As a PLC Engineer you will lead in the full software development lifecycle, such as defining requirements, coding, reviewing designs, and testing at every level, including operating and testing the hardware on which the software runs. You will provide mentoring and technical direction, helping to identify technical solutions to realize design. Our Client:

One of the most well-known brands in the aerospace sector, with a global reach and headquarters based in Dungannon. In order to satisfy the demands of their worldwide clients, they design and manufacture specialist equipment such as deicers, conveyor belt loaders, potable water and restroom trucks, and passenger staircases. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA - SHOULD YOU APPLY?

Must have an HND or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant working engineering experience. A minimum 5 years postgraduate work experience in a similar design software role. Experience in schematics and software programming design using software such as AutoCad, Solidworks, EPLAN. Ability to read and create detailed electrical drawings. Detailed knowledge of current regulations and electrical design standards. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Must have good technical drawing skills.
