Role Description As a PLC Trainer and PLC Engineer, you will play a dual role in the field of industrial automation and control systems. As a PLC Trainer, you will design and deliver educational programs to develop expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance. As a PLC Engineer, you will apply your technical skills to design, program, test, and maintain PLC systems in industrial settings. This role requires a combination of teaching ability, hands-on expertise, and an in-depth understanding of automation technology. Qualifications PLC Programming, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance skills Experience in delivering training sessions and developing training programs Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Key Responsibilities as a PLC Trainer: Design comprehensive training programs for various expertise levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Create engaging instructional materials, including presentations, manuals, and practical exercises. Conduct interactive workshops, hands-on sessions, and seminars on PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Use hardware, software, and simulation tools to provide real-world learning experiences. Tailor training sessions to meet industry-specific needs, focusing on applications such as manufacturing, process control, and automation. Monitor participants' progress using tests, quizzes, and practical evaluations. Provide personalized feedback and recommend improvement strategies. Regularly update training content to reflect advancements in PLC and automation technologies. Incorporate the latest safety standards and industry practices into training modules. Partner with other trainers and industry experts to improve training programs. Offer post-training support and consultancy to participants and clients. Key Responsibilities as a PLC Engineer: Design and develop control systems using PLCs for various industrial applications. Create technical documentation, including system schematics, wiring diagrams, and programming logic. Write and debug PLC programs using standard languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram. Configure Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to complement PLC systems. Oversee the installation and commissioning of PLC systems on-site. Perform rigorous testing to ensure system reliability and compliance with operational requirements. Diagnose and resolve issues in existing PLC systems to minimize downtime. Implement system upgrades to improve performance and efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and clients, to deliver projects. Provide technical guidance and solutions during the design and execution phases.
