In the UK, Safran Seats specializes solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales. The purpose of this role is to act as a liaison between the Safran Seats GB (SSGB) and the central PLM teams ensuring the successful deployment of PDM/PLM capabilities in SGB as a part of the global digital transformation program. Key Responsibilities

Conducting effective analysis to clarify, evaluate business requirements for change in a manner which supports the business strategic goals in the context of OnePLM transformation project. This includes documentation of requirements using various methods, such as: Process Mapping; User stories; Use Cases; Impact Mapping; Functional and Non-Functional Requirements Specifications. Implementation of functionalities in PLM tools such as Windchill and/or SmarTeam (legacy system). Responsible for conducting gap analysis of any new requirements and articulate business impact. Proactively engage with the stakeholders across global business units & external solution partners, and challenge appropriately adding views on best practices (CAD, PLM) and present the findings in precise manner. Supporting governance and delivery of assigned initiatives where required. As part of OnePLM core team, responsible to ensure correct support model is deployed during Solution development, UAT and post Go-Live to warrant excellent customer services and positive project outcomes. Preparing and delivering a report of their findings to leadership with comprehensive risk and impact assessment. Developing comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases during various phases of the OnePLM Project. Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements mainly in the areas of CAD Data Management, BOM and Enterprise Change management, with potential to carry out training workshops to guide the relevant teams. Responsible to Head of PLM for ensuring the key insights on requirements, solution testing, risks & issues are provided in concise manner during the course of the programme. Job Requirements

Qualified to a minimum of degree in Mechanical /Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science. Working knowledge and/or experience of CAD, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system such as PTC Windchill, or PDM tools. With knowledge of manufacturing industry processes in the PLM domain. Excellent research and analytic skills. In-depth knowledge of data representation techniques. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of MS Office tools and other relevant software packages. You will be required to hold a full U.K. Driving License and Passport, as some UK and overseas travel may be required. Knowledge of CAD/PDM/PLM or ERP Enterprise applications.
