Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various plumbing techniques. This role involves working on residential projects, ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. The successful applicant will be comfortable using hand tools and power tools, as well as performing heavy lifting when necessary. Duties Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in a timely manner. Weld and solder pipes as required for specific installations. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as joiners, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Utilise basic maths skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately. Carry out gas works when required. Be able to carry out the fitting of basic bathrooms. Requirements Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Must be qualified in gas. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety practices.
