Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team.

About the role This is an opportunity to join the councils new dynamic housing repairs team. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for undertaking high quality reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance works, across our 7,000 occupied properties. Work will include internal and external plumbing repairs and maintenance to occupied properties. You will provide outstanding customer service and excellent standards of performance to the public and tenants of Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils. About you In addition to having strong technical plumbing skills you will need to have a focused customer service approach and be adaptable and resourceful when working in the team or independently across the districts. You will need: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Awareness of related Health and Safety issues, practice and responsibilities Ability to use mobile tablet technology Good communication and customer service skills Be a team player, who can also work independently Have a “can do” attitude to solving plumbing issues for residents and tenants.
