As a Plumber, you’ll be carrying out plumbing tasks in Amplius properties helping to provide a reliable and friendly repairs and maintenance service. If you’re skilled, proactive, and enjoy working with people, we’d love to have you on our team! Your week: 39 hours, Monday to Friday Location: Bedfordshire and surrounding areas Snapshot of your role Fix leaks and replace taps, baths, cylinders, and water tanks. Install and repair hot and cold-water systems in homes. Repair and replace external water, waste, and rainwater systems. Work on unvented hot water systems. Keep work vehicle in good condition and report issues. Safely store and maintain tools and equipment. Manage and restock materials as needed. Use devices (tablet/lone worker) properly and keep them charged. Be part of the out-of-hours rota (with extra pay). Your toolkit for success Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication and a positive, outcome-focused attitude. Take ownership of issues, solve problems efficiently, and stay resilient. Support and mentor colleagues while working confidently in customer-facing roles. Have 2+ years of plumbing experience with relevant qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent). Follow Health & Safety regulations and maintain van stock effectively. Work independently, using a mobile device to complete tasks and organise work efficiently. Be flexible, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing situations.
