Plumbers Mate/Handy Person
If you have experience of working within a Field-Based Service, particularly in a plumbing or multi trader role, then this could be a great fit for you! You will need to have at least 2 years' experience within a plumbing or multi trader role and hold a relevant qualification to back this up. Working in an interesting and exciting industry, you will get to work on site with some well-known recognized brands across the UK. You will be required on occasions to take part in the on-call rota for breakdowns and emergencies, which would be paid, and travel within the role will be required.

Duties:
Carry out adhoc projects as directed by the Leak Detection manager. Carry out leak detection jobs covering all regions as required. Progress outstanding estimates. Arrange meetings with prospective customers. Attend seminars and visits. Ensure Polygon IT system is completed correctly, in line with quality procedures. Help technicians with technical problems regarding leak detection and provide coaching where necessary. Together with Leak Detection Manager, manage turnover and profit. Ensure the equipment is serviced correctly in line with quality procedures. Handle purchasing requirements. Attend meetings as directed by the Leak Detection Manager. Liaise with customers. Assist with project design. Develop new techniques together with the Leak Detection Manager. Ensure Company and quality procedures are adhered to by the restoration technicians. Conduct moisture surveys and write technical reports. Perform calibration and repair work to all Leak Detection equipment. Trace & Access hidden pipe work.
Skills and Experience: Technical skills - psychometrics. Electrical skills. Building / DIY experience. Ability to deal with customers under stress. Customer care skills.
