Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be adept at both installation and repair tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising various tools and techniques to ensure efficient plumbing solutions in both residential and commercial settings. We have a range of sites across Sussex, Surrey, and Kent, which comprise single self-build luxurious homes to sites of up to 10 properties, all with high-end fixings. As well as this, we also have the opportunity to join our domestic team installing boilers and handling everyday plumbing call-outs. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. Perform welding as necessary for pipe fittings and repairs. Conduct assessments to diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions. Carry out heavy lifting as required for the installation of equipment or materials. Assemble plumbing components with precision to ensure proper functionality. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, when necessary for integrated projects. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience in commercial driving is an advantage for transporting materials to job sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Previous experience in plumbing or a related field is preferred but not essential; training may be provided for the right candidate. A valid driver's licence is required.
