Job Summary
The main responsibilities of this role are to provide work-based assessment, coaching, and support to apprentices to enable them to fulfil their course requirements including End Point Assessment. The post holder will be supporting Apprentices working towards the Plumbing & Domestic Heating standard along with other skills, knowledge, and behaviours that are developed. Assessors will work with apprentices on both a group and individual basis. This interaction with apprentices will take place at the apprentices' workplace and vocational campus. This role also requires good communication skills across all departments and with the apprentices' employers. Under the Health & Safety etc. at Work Act 1974, it is the responsibility of individual employees at every level to take care of their own health and safety at work and that of others who may be affected by their acts at work. The College is committed to the safeguarding of all its students, staff, and visitors and provides a safe physical environment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced criminal records with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
