Plumbing Engineer (FM Technician)

Salary:

£30,000

Job Purpose: Join a leading FM company, undertaking planned, reactive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks across the ExxonMobil Fawley refinery site.

Key Responsibilities:

Upholding Health and Safety standards is paramount, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. The role involves integrating the client's Loss Prevention System (LPS) into daily tasks. Performing reactive plumbing works compliant with regulations and SLAs. Conducting planned plumbing maintenance per CMMS work plans. Completing plumbing installations that meet regulatory requirements. Collaborating with project teams to support plumbing needs. Preparing calorifiers for insurance inspections. Participating in the emergency call-out rota, ensuring all work meets standards while completing required documentation. Specifying materials for maintenance activities. Working within the site Permit to Work system. Operating MEWPs and other access equipment for height work, delivering high-standard work efficiently. Supporting continuous improvement programs. Accompanying third-party service providers to ensure compliance. Participating in training and development. Driving company vehicles for work tasks. Maintaining cleanliness in work areas. Assisting team members as required. Focusing on customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships. Updating maintenance records accurately.

Qualifications and Experience: Full UK driving licence. City and Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification or equivalent. BPEC Water Regulations certification. Experience on pressure systems and industrial sites. IPAF or equivalent MEWP operation licence. Knowledge of L8 Approved Code of Practice.
