A thriving consultancy that provides specialist ecological services to developers, landowners, planners, utilities, and local government.

We wish to recruit an Associate Director, who will be an integral part of a Senior Management Team. The post is based at the office near Exeter in Devon. The successful candidate will lead and deliver complex and interesting projects, manage and develop a team of dedicated and talented ecologists, and build and develop relationships with clients and project teams across a range of sectors.

What we need from you: A good relevant degree. Significant professional experience, the majority in consultancy and at senior levels. Proven staff management experience. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, design teams, planners, and regulators. Confidence in the preparation and critical review of technical reports, including EcIAs, HRAs, BNG assessments, ES Ecology chapters, and Ecological Management Plans. Commercial awareness and aptitude for business development. Full Membership of CIEEM; Chartered Ecologist/Environmentalist would be an advantage. A Full UK driving licence.
