The IT Programme Office (ITPO) is a key part of the IT function. This is an exciting time to join a growing area of the Group.
More about your role
Reporting to the PMO Manager, we are looking to recruit a PMO Analyst on a permanent basis.
The PMO Analyst will help govern the delivery of a portfolio of programmes and projects, ensuring they meet a consistent standard across the Group and align to best practice. You will bring a systems-thinking mindset to understand how initiatives connect, proactively joining the dots across projects and programmes to identify themes, dependencies, risks and opportunities. You will also champion the adoption of digital tools to automate and streamline PMO processes, improving efficiency, data quality and ways of working.
On a daily basis you will use data, dashboards and key performance reporting to generate portfolio insights for stakeholders, spotting patterns and trends, and highlighting where intervention is needed. You will support the continuous improvement of our project governance approach through clear, consistent reporting, assurance activities and pragmatic process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a PMO Analyst and have had exposure to Project Management.
Skills/ Experience
- A proven track record of working within a PMO / Programme Office environment, supporting governance, reporting and delivery assurance. Exposure to project and programme management approaches (e.g., waterfall/agile), with the ability to work effectively with Programme Manager, Project Managers, Business Analysts and delivery teams. Strong analytical capability, using data to create portfolio insights (e.g., trends, themes, dependencies, risks), and to connect the dots across projects and programmes. Confidence in adopting and improving digital tools for PMO automation and efficiency (e.g., reporting, workflows, templates) with a continuous improvement mindset. A systems-thinking approach with the ability to understand end-to-end impacts and how change in one area affects others across the portfolio. A project management qualification is desirable, but not essential. Experience using Project Management tooling such as Azure Dev Ops or Jira is desirable, but not essential A track record of working within the Housing Sector.
