Police Consultant Volunteers will work collaboratively with police officers and staff to expedite investigations and enhance the service provided to Surrey's communities. Skills & Experience
Police Consultant Volunteers will need to have a willingness and desire to support the police and the public, with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. To apply, you will need to have investigative experience and an understanding of disclosure and CPIA 1996. An accreditation in Professionalising Investigation Programme 2 (PIP2) is desirable, but not essential. As part of a proactive policing team, you will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively, to plan and prioritise key tasks. Previous experience of using Microsoft Office programmes and police incident recording systems such as Niche would be beneficial for this role as you will need to use these each time you volunteer.
