About ARU Police Education: ARU is partnered with The Metropolitan Police and the Seven Police Forces in the Eastern Region – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, and Suffolk – to train the Police Officers of the future. We are delivering two of the new Police Constable Entry Routes (PCER) programmes: the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and the Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) developed by the College of Policing. This is a chance to be involved in shaping the Police Officers of the future and become part of an industry-leading team. The PCER programmes aim to further professionalise policing as a career by both recognising and raising educational standards. New Police Constables will enrol with us on a three-year Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA), which combines a degree programme with on-the-job training, while a two-year Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) will be available for new recruits who already have a degree. We deliver these programmes at our Police partners’ training facilities alongside our police colleagues and also at our dedicated Police Education facility in London. Police Education Delivery Lead

to provide strategic leadership in the delivery and the continuous improvement of the PCER programmes Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) and Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) across all our delivery (7 Forces and MPS). Location:

Agile between home, Chelmsford, London, and Cambridge regions. Fixed term contract:

This is a fixed short-term contract. With a degree, you will have experience in management of staff, leading and motivating a team. With excellent communication and influencing skills, you will have knowledge and understanding of how the PCER programmes add value to the Police, Public Service, and Higher Education Institutions. Please note, background checks will be conducted on all applicants and will include successful clearance from the College of Policing barring list. Successful candidates will also require Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) level 2 (Full) clearance as you will have unsupervised access to police premises. The ability to travel between police establishments and ARU campuses is required for roles within the ARU Police Education programmes. Salary range:
