Policy Lead – Edinburgh (mostly remote) – Inside IR35 One of Loriens Public Sector clients has a new opportunity for a Policy Lead with legislation experience to join them for an initial 3 month with a possibility of extending for a further 20 months. The successful candidate will carry out the role of Policy Lead to deliver high quality drafts of all necessary documentation including briefing and impact assessments. You will conduct high quality stakeholder engagement with impacted public authorities, as well as, engagement with Parliament and Legislation Units to provide assurance and guidance. Essential Skills / Background Excellent knowledge of Scottish Public Sector Demonstratable experience of policy and / or legislation development Demonstratable experience of meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high quality work Experience of varied, successful stakeholder engagement in order to meet agreed objectives
