Job Overview The Specialist, reporting to the Senior Policy, Governance and Talent Manager, is responsible for supporting: The delivery and compliance of the Procurement governance framework, policies and processes, in order to enable delivery of the Procurement and wider business objectives. Effectively maintaining, communicating and continuously improving the framework, policies and processes, guiding Procurement team members to adhere to these to drive maximum value. Support the Procurement governance framework, policies and processes and communicate any changes, providing training, support and guidance to ensure consistent and efficient uptake. Support the roll out and implementation of the new Procurement Act, including any subsequent derivations and changes. Support improvements in the governance framework, policies and processes, facilitating delivery of relevant business objectives. Support the management of Procurement risks/issues and operational budget and assess effectiveness of governance in delivering against its aims. About You Good and developing communication skills – including verbal, written and presenting to a group. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders. Ability to demonstrate a proactive/can do style of work. Developing a curious and continuous improvement mindset. Conscious to deliver to best performance. Commercial awareness and good analytical, planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills. A developing knowledge and application of process management, analysis and improvement techniques. Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
