You will play a key role in engaging with politicians, organising high-profile events, drafting policy briefings, and managing key stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor parliamentary developments and provide updates to members Support the delivery of Public Affairs Working Group meetings Maintain and update our stakeholder database Draft policy briefings and correspondence for policymakers Organise and attend political events, including roundtables, receptions, visits, and party conferences Collaborate with the communications and events teams to enhance the visibility of our public affairs activities Develop expertise in transport and logistics policy to provide insights to members and stakeholders Attend external events and engage with politicians to build relationships Requirements

Experience in public affairs or a related field Strong interest in politics, government, and policy development Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment A collaborative approach with strong attention to detail Benefits
