About The Role: We are seeking an accomplished and proactive Portfolio Director to lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across our London contracts while nurturing and building strong client relationships. The role involves overseeing the delivery of total FM contracts, encompassing both soft and hard services, and supporting the team to consistently exceed client expectations. With a strong focus on compliance, performance optimisation, and fostering a culture of service excellence, the Portfolio Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Your main responsibilities will include: Service Delivery:

Pushing the boundaries of service excellence through the development and improvement of our services. You will oversee all the strategic and account development plans for all Facilities Management contracts within your area. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and high-quality service delivery. Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary escalation between the company and assigned clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to foster trust and loyalty. Regularly meet with clients to review service performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement. Account Growth and Development:

Identify opportunities for expanding the scope of services provided to clients. Develop and present proposals for additional services or enhancements to current contracts. Collaborate with the commercial team to secure renewals and new business opportunities. Attracting and retaining the best talent. The Portfolio Director will be responsible for ensuring there is a robust succession and development plan process in place across the business unit. This key position will be actively involved in supporting the development of the business unit strategy. You will demonstrate a commercial and strategic awareness and focus, have a structured approach, intelligence, enthusiasm, and an open, collaborative style. Financial and Contract Management:

Ensure all services are delivered within budget and contractual agreements. Monitor account profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities for both clients and internal. Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to clients and internal stakeholders. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery and client relationships. Producing monthly reports, both internally and externally as required. You should meet the following criteria: A minimum of five years' experience at a senior level in general operational management - ideally within facilities management. Experience of managing a demanding portfolio or accounts of multi-service business. Exceptional leadership skills, experience in total facilities management hard and soft services. Demonstrable evidence of change management, contract improvements and contract re-engineering. Track record demonstrating a full understanding of profit & loss accounting and meeting budget requirements. Ability to analyse, in detail, financial data. Operational experience in the Workplace sectors particularly within Corporate Head Office environments.
