Portfolio Lead - IT Audit / Economic Crime Edinburgh Hybrid Are you ready to take on a leadership role in audit and risk management? We have an exceptional opportunity for a Portfolio Lead within a dynamic Group Audit & Conduct Investigations (GA&CI) team. In this role, you ll use your expertise in technology and risk to provide high-quality, independent assurance on internal controls and risk management across the business. What You ll Do: As a Portfolio Lead, you ll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of audits, ensuring that activities are impactful, timely, and aligned with strategic goals. You will: Lead audit planning and execution, building relationships across teams and delivering valuable insights into risk and control assurance. Prioritize your work and that of your team, ensuring efficient delivery while removing obstacles. Provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring to colleagues, helping them grow and contribute to a high-performing team culture. Champion business strategy by connecting audit insights to business goals at the macro level. Represent Group Audit at key committees and work closely with senior leadership to influence decision-making. What You ll Need: Strong experience in auditing cloud platforms, software development lifecycle, and modern engineering practices, with a solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Economic Crime. A proven track record of leading Economic Crime audits, covering key products, processes, and IT systems. Expertise in identifying risks associated with technology in business processes and applying IT controls knowledge to audit automated business controls. Excellent communication skills to manage and influence senior stakeholders and deliver high-quality audit reports. Critical thinking abilities to interpret internal and external data, providing forward-looking insights on risks and opportunities. Strong project management skills, able to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills That Would Be Useful: Knowledge of Economic Crime regulations. International Compliance Association (ICA) qualifications or equivalent. Ready to Make an Impact?
