Portfolio Management Manager

Portfolio Management Manager focuses on produce projections of underwriting performance, feeding into finance teams planning and forecasting.

What the role involves

• Produce projections of underwriting performance, feeding into Finance teams planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with other Pricing and Insight teams to agree appropriate strategic plan and forecasting assumptions for projection models.
• Supporting the GUO Portfolio Management process, producing analysis and material to meet Company requirements.
• Ensure appropriate value-based retention incentives are in place, rolling out initiatives to front line teams, recommending appropriate corrective action is taken if underperformin.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience leading, developing, coaching and motivating a Pricing, Underwriting or Finance team.
• Expert knowledge of the dynamics of the private medical insurance (PMI) market.
• Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates.
• Demonstrable knowledge of pricing and key drivers of performance.
