As a Portfolio Manager, you will report to the Head of Capital Delivery LPN and work within Capital Programme & Procurement. In this role, you will be accountable for the safe delivery of a portfolio of projects and programmes of work within the mandated output, time, and cost criteria. You will lead a team of 10 direct reports and manage a multi-discipline team of around 100, including consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering major capital projects Providing leadership and direction to programme and senior project managers Ensuring risk and opportunity management Forecasting expenditure Managing performance Developing processes to improve problem-solving Ensuring compliance with regulations Managing relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders If you have a formal qualification in project/programme management or an equivalent degree in electrical or civil engineering, substantial experience delivering infrastructure projects, and practitioner-level skills in contract management, planning, and risk management, we want to hear from you.
