They will join an agile, high-performing, and values-driven team at the heart of L&Q's programme of change, helping to turn L&Q’s five-year Corporate Strategy, Future Shape,into a reality. Our Corporate Strategy highlighted our priorities and how these will be underpinned through ‘operational excellence’. For L&Q, this means delivering the best total cost solution for our customers through reliable, consistent, and repeatable products and services. We want our customers to know what to expect of us and know that we will deliver on thistime and time again.The successful candidate will be naturally analytical and highly capable of analysing complex programmes and projects, identifying plans, risks, and issues, and translating this information into information that colleagues across the Group can understand. They should also be experienced in influencing at a senior level, extremely competent at communication and engagement, and able to develop colleagues and teams to their full potential. They will be responsible for: Support portfolio management activity across the Grouprelated to our Transformation Programme, Change Projects, and Business Plans. Support and influence activity across the Group that clearly demonstrates how L&Q’s five-year Future Shape Corporate Strategy will be delivered. Lead in portfolio reporting, feeding into L&Q’s officer-led governance groups to provide regular and insightful updates, highlighting associated delivery risks and how these are being controlled. Embedding project and programme frameworks to deliver consistent and repeatable programme and project management, including benefits and other portfolio reporting. Lead on gap analysis across the Transformation and Change portfolio supporting the corporate strategy. Leads and facilitates the project lifecycle process to assess and make decisions on new change proposals through the governance framework, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy. For approved change and transformation initiatives, facilitating the mobilisation of the delivery, leading the work to ensure accurate translation of objectivesinto planned deliverables and outcomes. We seek an established and experienced senior individual able to use their skills to bring stakeholders and teams together to define and then deliver brilliant outcomes for colleagues and residents alike. As such, the key skills and experience required include, but are not limited to; LeadershipLeader of both direct and indirect reports, and adept at enabling them to be the best they can be, in support of successful outcomes for them and L&Q, with experience of delivering through others Portfolio Management and AssuranceExperience in portfolio, programme and project management frameworks and methods and their application in a large and complex setting. Risk, Issue and Change ManagementConfident and capable of identifying risks and issues and implementing mitigation to manage them, and to do so collaboratively, influence, and escalate to resolution. Experience in assessing change, ensuring the full scope and impact are fully understood and quantified to enable effective decision-making. Communication and InfluencingHighly adept at communication through all media, at all levels, internally and externally. Strong influencing skills and ability to operate successfully in a large, complex business setting, with a focus on driving operational excellence and simplifyingoutcomes. Digital ToolsConfident in using digital tools, including Microsoft 365 and project software, to support the delivery of this role and extend their use to bring innovation to deliver better outcomes.
