Join us, we’re an Investors in People Silver Standard Company At Ground Control, we have an opportunity for an experienced POS Rep / Crane Controller to join our Arboriculture in Rail & Infrastructure division on a zero hour contract based Nationally. Duties required of a POS Rep / Crane Controller include: Using your experience to assist in the scoping of works in preparation of site POS/OTP Packs. Site visits with Departments/Customers discussing the process of works and tasks needed to be completed. Understand, interpret and work according to site plans, written instructions, or verbal guidance. Prioritize working in a clean and tidy manner to protect the environment and prevent pollution. Maintain all equipment in a clean and undamaged state, promptly reporting any damage. Adhere to relevant legislation, such as Health and Safety at Work, LOLER, COSHH etc. Have a plant safety mindset and look after the best interest of the POS / Plant provider. Be aware of site conditions and be helpful to the teams we work with. Be a point of contact for the site team and plant team on the ground. Know or be willing to learn the POS rules we need to abide by within the rail plant environment. Deal with on site issues co-ordination between staff and plant. On site crane controlling duties. On site POS representative. Able to use IT and manage paperwork effectively. Who are we looking for?
