The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well-integrated team. The successful candidate would be expected to develop a specialist interest in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Radiology and integrate into our large tertiary referral HPB unit consisting of a team of 6 consultant radiologists. The post would entail extensive structured and supported exposure to predominantly diagnostic abdominal cross-sectional imaging techniques, although CT and ultrasound interventional procedures would be included, as would exposure to liver-related interventional therapies such as TACE, SIRT, and radiofrequency ablation. Previous exposure to HPB radiology would be an advantage but is not essential. On-call commitments would be optional, and applicants should hold or be within 9 months of obtaining their CCST. In addition to the challenges of the role, we can offer you a commitment to teaching, education, research, and audit. As a flexible working-friendly organization, we want to ensure that you can work in a way that is best for us, our patients, and you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you. Main duties of the job
