Jan 22, 2020 We are advertising for a postdoctoral researcher (PDRA) to work on our NERC-funded project “Integrating new statistical frameworks into eDNA survey and analysis at the landscape scale”. This is an interdisciplinary project led by Dr Eleni Matechou, University of Kent, with Dr Alex Bush, University of Lancaster, Professor Jim Griffin, Statistical Science, UCL, Professor Richard Griffiths, Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology, University of Kent, and Professor Doug Yu, UEA as co-Investigators. The aim of the project is to develop an integrated statistical framework for DNA-based surveys of biodiversity. We are looking for a PDRA with a strong research track record, as well as relevant skills and experience in applied Bayesian modelling and the implementation of associated computational methods.
