There are different programmes available - hospital only and dual sector combined with community or primary care. Working as part of our integrated clinical pharmacy and dispensary teams, you will have direct involvement in patient care and influence treatment choices by being involved in decision-making at the point of prescribing.
Whilst in post, there will be opportunities to undertake postgraduate pharmacy courses. The department has close links with Cardiff, Bangor & Glyndwr Universities.

Qualification and/or knowledge
MPharm degree or equivalent. Registered as a pharmacist with the GPhC. Knowledge of clinical pharmacy. Knowledge of therapeutics. Knowledge of electronic and manual information sources. Practicing member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent qualification. Experience
Experience of working with direct patient contact (managed sector or community pharmacy). Experience of patient-oriented medicines systems. Aptitude and abilities
Ability to meet deadlines. Team working abilities. Organisational ability. Welsh speaking. Values
Committed to self-study and self-development. Other
Participate in the provision of general public holiday and weekend pharmacy service. Willingness to participate in 'on-call' out of hours duty roster as necessary. Willingness to work in a bilingual area. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
