£27,000/annum Your role and responsibilities The Veterinary Nursing Post Registration Programme (PRP) is a 12-month programme that combines both professional skills training with hands-on clinical veterinary nursing, enabling newly qualified nurses to make the transition from student to successful referral Veterinary Nurse. You will be working as an RVN in a supportive environment, undertaking the nursing care of patients in a variety of areas, including wards, theatre, and diagnostics. You will have an assigned clinical mentor (Preceptor) to support you with any questions and queries, and time off Rota to allow you to adapt to your new role and acquire the knowledge you need to thrive in our multidisciplinary referral hospital. About us We are a veterinary clinic and referral multi-disciplinary practice that offers the highest care services for small animals. With our primary care and 24-hour emergency services, we care for pets from all over the south as well as animals in our local community. We believe excellence is at the heart of both clinical standards and customer service to ensure our patients receive the best quality care. Benefits £500 CPD allowance + 3 days in which to take it 1 in-person and 2 remote Professional Development Days Equivalent of 2 hours each week off rota for study Preceptor and PRP manager support 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays + Birthday Leave RCVS & VDS fees paid Extensive free online Linnaeus CPD programme Career progression opportunities Staff discount schemes Wellness programme including:
