We are seeking one researcher to join the project on a full-time basis to lead and work on the Liverpool elements of the project. This will involve the design, modelling, and testing of vapour compression heat pump systems, and working very closely as part of an integrated team with other academics and researchers, and assisting in the supervision of PhD students at Liverpool.

You will be expected to have expertise, experience, and a track record in vapour adsorption refrigeration and/or heat pump systems.

You will have the ability to plan and organise research programmes to ensure successful completion. You will also have experience in planning and organising workloads, including the ability to supervise and delegate work.

You will have the ability to work within a team environment and to lead teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen, engage, persuade, and present complex information in an accessible way to a range of audiences.

The post is offered on a fixed-term basis and is available for 12 months.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded, you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
