The Postgraduate Education team is currently seeking a self-motivated, dynamic administrator to join our busy department. The Postgraduate Medical Education Team supports all resident doctors in training employed by the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. We aim to provide high-quality education and training across all specialties and also deliver simulation and resuscitation training. The administration team of our department supports the Senior Team by undertaking administrative and support services to enable the service to excel and meet the needs of our users. The post holder will be a key member of the Postgraduate Medical Education Team. You will provide a high-quality administration service to the Senior Team and wider PGME staff, with principal responsibility for the administration of education relating to resident doctors in general practice training. The content of the post will be subject to continuing review in discussion between the post holder and manager. Main duties of the job

Assist the Associate Dean with GP Trainer approval process and their Annual Peer Reviews. Administer the GP Resident Doctor study leave applications and expenses. Assist the GP Education Team with the Annual Review of Competency and Progression process for all GP Resident Doctors. Assist the Training Programme Directors with the weekly teaching programme. Administer the process for payments of speakers at GP teaching. Assist the Associate Dean & Support Manager with the Less than Full Time applications. Assist the Associate Dean & Support Manager with Supervisor Allocations. Assist the GP Education Team with the Quality Process for GP training posts. Arrange the weekly Education Team meeting and the quarterly GP resident doctors representative meeting. Attend the quarterly virtual Deanery GP Administrators meetings. Create and establish relationships with the GP Surgeries within the GP training scheme in Cornwall. PLEASE NOTE:
