About the Role: As a Power Tool Service Engineer / Fitter, you will be based in the workshop, utilising your engineering expertise to maintain and repair a modern fleet of small tools and equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI’s), servicing, and repairing tool hire equipment. Collaborating effectively within a small, close-knit team. Striving to meet and exceed workshop targets and efficiency standards. Performing well under pressure while adhering to Health & Safety regulations set by both the HSE and the company. Skills and Experience Required: The ideal candidate will bring: Previous experience in roles such as Service Engineer, Mobile Service Engineer, Tool Fitter, Hire Technician, or Test & Run. A background in the tool hire industry, with a solid understanding of equipment like Stihl Saws, Petrol Generators, Hydraulic Power Packs, and 110v Power Tools. An analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently without instruction. A clean, current driving licence.
