Join us on our mission to place the power of good advice into more hands because we believe that everyone deserves access to good advice, regardless of where they’re at in their financial journey.An exceptional track record of growth and innovation is driven by our core values of: Personal, offering advice based on a true understanding of what matters to our clients; Partnership, working with our clients in a joined-up, collaborative way; and Performance, demonstrating a breadth and depth of advice expertise to deliver first-class results.Read more about us and available career opportunities here: and Job DescriptionJob Purpose The purpose of this role is to provide insightful, accurate and impactful dashboards and reporting across the Professional Services (PS) business.This successful candidate will be required to work from our Bracknell office at least 2 days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy BI data solutions across PS by developing data models and pipelines and reports, Power BI dashboards, and KPI scorecardsOverseeing and creating where necessary complex tabular models, including SQL database development to store data in a manageable reporting format.Using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) for larger data models, including complex DAX.Business Analysis and requirements gathering with stakeholders to design the best technical solution and translate to team for development.Creating automated sustainable reporting solutions and identifying improvements in existing processes to enhance efficiency and tackle technical debt.Monitoring security in Power BI and incorporating Row Level Security (RLS) into data models.Creating Power BI Gateways, Workspaces and Apps. Ensuring that appropriate access is applied.Documenting processes, database models, and architecture plans.Bring together multiple data sets into defined and sustainable solutions to deliver ‘one source of truth’ to the business.Work closely with different teams across the business to improve data literacy and empower teams with the right tools, reports and guidance to leverage insight to make better informed decisionsQualificationsKey Skills and ExperienceStrong experience with MS Power BI & DAX.Strong experience in SQL for querying, analysis, and optimisation.Experience using Microsoft Development (Visual Studio) tools to develop and manage database & BI projects.Understanding of best practices to deliver compelling data visualisations & reports.Understanding of industry-standard data warehousing modelling techniquesKnowledge of ETL using a variety of data sourcesAbility to work independently and within a teamGood communication skills both written and verbal.Understands processes, data and strategic priorities.Has the ability to design solutions that meet user needs, allowing for design and ethics standards.Work towards the successful delivery of products and establish maintenance requirements.Professional Qualifications and EducationSTEM preferred but experience above more essential.PowerBI certifications preferred.Additional InformationAs a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependant)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
