Experienced Powered Access Engineer Our client is a leading provider of access equipment solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Powered Access Engineer to join their team at their Cannock depot. In this critical role, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our extensive fleet of scissor lifts and boom lifts. Your responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive range of tasks, from preventative maintenance and troubleshooting complex malfunctions to collaborating on refurbishments and providing on-site support. We are searching for a results-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Previous experience in the powered access industry is an asset, but we are also open to candidates with a solid foundation in plant, agricultural, or forklift engineering. A strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a dedication to continuous learning are essential. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults on both in-house and third-party powered access equipment. Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) examinations. Assist with servicing, refurbishments, and general workshop duties. Respond promptly and effectively to on-site breakdowns and callouts. Qualifications and Skills: Proven qualifications and experience as a Powered Access Engineer or Plant Fitter. Valid driving license. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently. Team player with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. IPAF CAP Licence a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate. They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
