Contract Outside IR35: About the company: I am currently recruiting on behalf of a high end low volume client who specialise in Super cars. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their Powertrain department on a long term rolling contract basis. Job Description: Attend, support & organise supplier meetings as required to achieve the Deliverables. Perform all necessary support as reasonably required to achieve all the Deliverables and meeting the Milestones as set out in the design release plan. Regular liaison, status reports, attendance of design reviews and general project management on related issues. Project Management Administration. Essential Criteria: "Cradle to Grave" approach - working within a cross functional team from R&D stage, through concept, design release, production launch and series production support to collectively deliver the whole vehicle specification targets and contribute to the overall business KPIs. Feasibility (supporting in-house manufacturing or assembly processes as well as supplied components). Responsible for Problem Solving. Responsible for accurate reporting: Bill Of Materials management (part numbering, structuring, design change process). Weight management through correct management of the BOM. Rapid and accurate cost estimation to support conceptual decisions at the early stages of a project. Detailed estimation to assure design releases meet cost targets and to support robust purchasing decisions.
