A school based in Newham is looking for a part-time KS2 PPA Teacher to start in January 2025. This is a long-term position, and the school needs someone who is able to commit on an ongoing basis.

Job Responsibilities:
Work for 2 days - flexible with days
Deliver lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum
Manage support staff in class
Work with year group leaders to support group work and positive learning outcomes
Deliver lessons as planned and directed by the class teachers
Leave detailed feedback for teachers
Mark the work as required
Preferred Skills:
Hold a teaching qualification with QTS (this role would not be suited to an ECT as the school is not able to provide a mentor/support)
Have experience of teaching children in KS2 previously
Strong behaviour management skills
Have a good understanding of primary school learning, outcomes, and recording observations
Hold a valid DBS or apply for one
