Department Information The marketing function is a fully integrated marketing team within Elegant Resorts head office in Chester. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will support the wider team in driving our digital strategy to further support growth of the business. Working alongside the design, content, PR, advertising and digital teams, this role plays an important and integral part of delivering the marketing strategy. Purpose of the role overview As the PPC Specialist within the business, you’ll be responsible for the planning, management, execution and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels. Your expertise will drive effective online advertising strategies, proactively challenging to ensure maximum results and return on investment. Accountabilities Strategize and actively manage the execution of effective PPC strategies and campaigns to further drive web traffic and lead generation whilst improving efficiencies.

Continually test and optimise campaigns based on KPIs, ensuring PPC Accounts yield favourable ROI outcomes and align with crucial business goals.

Critically evaluate existing campaign structures utilising tools like Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Universal Analytics for setting up conversion tracking.

Analyse and monitor keyword performance ensuring all landing pages are optimised effectively for maximum return on investment.

Create engaging ad content and proactively monitor performance.

Proactively manage and track campaigns to ensure the attribution model is accurate.

Work closely with the product and sales team to create a feedback loop into the Google Algorithm to inform and enhance the campaign performance.

Create and manage an automated reporting suite to construct transparent communication of results and actionable recommendations to the Head of Marketing.

Utilise competitor and market insights to improve channel performance.

Have a thorough and up-to-date understanding of Google trends and products.

Work with the wider team to create a combined PPC and SEO strategy to increase search share of voice.

Qualifications: Degree educated or a relevant digital marketing qualification.

Proven agency experience managing PPC campaigns across platforms like Google and Microsoft Ads.

Significant technical knowledge and ability.

Strong analytical abilities for generating PPC reports and making data-driven decisions.

Knowledge of customer journeys and funnel optimisation.

A thorough understanding of the wider digital media landscape.

Strategic and creative thinker.
