BAM Site Solutions are looking to recruit a PPE & Consumables Product Solutions Manager. You will be responsible for managing consumable products, ensuring that clients receive high-quality, reliable supplies that meet their operational needs. This is a full-time role working on site at Wellingborough. BAM operates a flexible working policy, actively encouraging periods of remote home working and flexibility in start and finish hours to fit into an individual's busy lifestyle. Your mission

Oversee the selection, procurement, and management of consumable products. Responsible for budgets, forecasts and P&L for assigned product category. Work with suppliers to secure reliable, cost-effective consumable solutions. Collaborate with client engagement teams to align product offerings with client requirements. Work with key manufacturers and suppliers to develop and introduce innovation offering the best in class products with a strong focus on sustainability. Maintain strong commercial and contractual focus to ensure profit margins are maintained. Monitor stock levels and ensure consumables are readily available for projects. In conjunction with the Managing Director, actively contribute to BAM Site Solutions business strategy, ensuring compliance and consistent delivery and rolling out of objectives and targets. Understand and interpret the strategic direction of the Business Unit and align operational delivery to strategic intent. Embed a culture of compliance to all UK & Ireland policies, targets, standards, and strategy in relation to safety, health, wellbeing, and sustainability. Implement and deliver new opportunities within Site Solutions. Embed new engagements and partnership approaches across industry, professional bodies, and trade associations. Actively promote and embed product innovation, expertise, and practice into the depots in conjunction with the Product Managers. Accountable for ensuring consumable products meet quality and safety standards. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels and achieving cost-effectiveness. Ensure timely supply of consumables to meet client project timelines. Report on product performance and implement improvements as necessary. Who are we looking for?

In-depth knowledge and experience of the UK Construction plant, products and services in a similar operational and technical level role. Experience in delivery of targets and schedules to achieve set P and L KPI’s. Experience in strategic customer and supplier management and negotiation. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Excellent client-facing and supply chain-facing skills. Excellent relationship building and communication skills, capable of consulting and collaborating with key players and teams at all levels within the business. Good knowledge of Microsoft programmes including a strong understanding of Excel and SharePoint. Ability to understand and work to the BAM values. What’s in it for you?
