PR & Communication Executive Kids Planet Day Nurseries provides the highest standard of early years care and education in each of our 206 settings within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, and interact with others. Due to maternity leave, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic communicator to join our team on a fixed contract to lead our communication agenda across our external and internal platforms. Responsible for ensuring that Kids Planet is seen across the media landscape as experts in early years education, as a great place to work, and the number one parent choice. The PR & Communications Executive

will lead our PR agency to deliver market-leading communications alongside delivering local PR strategies and communications for nursery teams and our new acquisitions. The role encompasses internal communication to ensure that all the Kids Planet team members are kept up to date with news and information and is the guardian of the brand tone of voice for the company ensuring consistent messages are communicated across the company. Contributing to an exciting growth plan, this role reports to the Senior Brand Manager working alongside a wider marketing team and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the PR and communication content plan - from a local and national perspective Working with the PR agency and wider team devise creative public relation strategies that drive our company objectives Organize and coordinate PR activities – local and national Liaise cross-functionally to ensure consistency in promoting brand tone and messages Arrange for interviews, construct press releases Analyse results of PR campaigns or efforts and prepare reports Content writing of blogs and other articles that make use of SEO and our key messages LinkedIn – ensure content is relevant and posted in a timely manner to increase our engagement and raise awareness Requirements and Skills

Proven experience as public relations executive or similar role Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels Solid knowledge of social media (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to build strong relationships with key people or organizations A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions Strong copywriter and experience of blog and content creation Required Skills

Proven relevant experience in PR, digital PR roles, either agency or in-house Strong working experience of KPI tracking and performance analysis Working knowledge and experience of:

A keen eye for design and be at home talking about content creation and SEO optimisation. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide clear insight and direction Experience building content and developing brilliant PR campaigns and will be on top of analytics and reporting to make sure that we’re identifying opportunities quickly and efficiently. This is a full-time, 12-month contract role, 3 days a week in the office in Lymm (Cheshire) position with 2 WFH days. Demonstrate ability to work in the UK. UK Driving Licence.
