We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, committed, hardworking, flexible and solution-focused individual to join the Placement and Student Support Team which supports Pre-registration Nursing, Preceptorship and Return to Practice, Allied Health Professions, Social Work and Psychological Services. Supporting placement areas to provide an excellent learning experience for Learners on placements within HPFT is an integral part of this role. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues across the Trust. They will be able to work autonomously and effectively taking responsibility for their own work. Having teaching and presentation skills would be an asset to the role. Main duties of the job

Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of NMC 'Standards to Support Learning & Assessment in Practice ensuring HPFT compliance with the NMC. Support delivery of high quality practice placements for all non-medical students and learners. Facilitate the mandatory Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor Workshops. Support the planning and coordination of Educational audits to ensure educational standards are maintained and met. Engage in the development & support the pre-registered educational learning experience within HPFT. Support the Preceptorship programme & Return to Practice Module for nurses. Develop good working relationships with all HPFT staff, service users, and other external organisations such as the HEIs & the Health Education East of England and communicate regularly and efficiently with them as the HPFT practice education representative. Provide data to the Education lead for reports to be compiled for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Workforce Partnership/ HEIs & Health Education East of England e.g. PQAF, NMC Review, Deanery review. Qualifications

Essential

Professional health or social care qualifications e.g. nursing, social work, occupational therapy. Registered Health Professional, e.g. NMC, HCPC. Post-registration clinical experience. Evidence of continuing professional development including regular attendance on internal and external study programmes. Desirable

Professional teaching/assessment qualification e.g. ENB 998, M&P, MIPs, Cert ed. Experience

Essential

Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement. Knowledge of pre-registration standards of education. IT Skills. Team Representation. Clinical skills. Desirable
