Practice Manager

Bourn Surgery is a friendly, successful, dispensing practice serving around 6,800 patients in a rural location nine miles west of Cambridge. We recently won the 2024 RCGP East Anglia Practice Team of the Year award recognising the dedication and expertise of our practice team. We prioritise an excellent team environment, ensuring all individuals are valued and provided with support and opportunities to develop their skills and expertise. We have a strong reputation for providing a high standard of care, and consistently score highly across general practice indicators, including the National Patient Satisfaction Surgery, QOF and patient access. We continually strive to improve the care we offer to our patients and as a result have the backing of our loyal and supportive patient population. We recognise the many challenges of being a practice manager and are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and experience of practice management to support the partners in managing the Practice. Our ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified, confident and possess proven management skills, particularly in HR, IT, and compliance, including CQC and health & safety. They also need to be astute, as well as capable of providing strategic, proactive and innovative support in an ever-changing healthcare environment.
