Supporting Our Team
As Practice Manager, you’ll work closely with our Clinical Director, Head Receptionist, and Lead Nurse to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include overseeing practice standards, HR, payroll, financial planning, building maintenance, and managing projects. You’ll also collaborate with IVC Evidensia’s area support team, attending meetings with neighbouring practices to foster learning and development.

Mearley Vets is a thriving small animal practice with a small amount of Equine client base dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring a seamless client experience. Over 3 sites, we have a small but dedicated team of 6 vets, 5 nurses, 2 veterinary care assistants, and 8 front of house staff.
Located in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, Clitheroe offers stunning countryside views, great local amenities, and is near vibrant towns like Skipton and Manchester. It’s the perfect place for nature lovers, with plenty of walking trails and scenic areas to explore.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with proven management and leadership experience, though training and support will be provided where necessary. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, take a proactive approach to problem-solving, and enjoy collaborating with a motivated team. Your role will be essential in fostering a positive and efficient workplace for both staff and clients. A valid driving license is required, as the role involves travel between branches and attendance at external meetings.
Enjoy a Work-Life Balance
This part-time role includes 25 hours per week across 5 days. We are also open to considering a 4-day working week. Occasional Saturday mornings from 8:30am to 2:00pm may be required to support our reception team during absences or holiday cover.
