We welcome your application for the role of Practice Manager at The Smiles Studio dental practice in Chandlers Ford. The Smiles Studio has been serving the local community for over 13 years, offering high-quality Private and NHS dentistry from an experienced and stable team. We offer a wide range of treatments including Implants, SmileFast, Teeth whitening, and Teeth straightening. We are a well-established practice, with a friendly team who are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a full-time Practice Manager to join us at The Smiles Studio. They will be a confident, approachable, and forward-thinking individual who will reflect our mission statement in their day-to-day work. We will offer full training, so dental experience is not essential, but the correct attitude is vital. You will be supported in your role by an experienced team and will report directly to the owner. As Practice Manager you'll:

Monitor KPIs & support clinicians to help them achieve their targets. Coach, lead & develop our fantastic team, creating a positive environment for both staff and patients. Ensure the surgery is opened and closed successfully each day and all tasks have been completed by your team members. Plan rotas, holidays, and surgery timetables. Develop and implement processes, protocols, and practice operating manuals to efficiently manage the practice's needs. Deal with patient queries and complaints. Complete all compliance, audits, and RP4 tasks in a timely manner. Ensure the practice meets CQC, legislative, health & safety, and compliance guidelines. Monitor performance, appraisals, and all HR-related tasks. Manage practice finance including day-to-day accounting & petty cash. Organise and chair monthly staff meetings, being responsible for the organisation of the agenda and minutes. Experience requirements:

Previous dental experience is desirable, but we also welcome applications with a management background in another industry. Be driven, proactive, and focused to achieve outstanding results for practice and team growth. The ability to communicate effectively with the team and lead them with a positive, proactive approach. Possess excellent organisational and timekeeping skills with great attention to detail to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Able to face difficult conversations with staff and patients & deal promptly with issues when they arise. Fluent in written and spoken English. Experience using SOE is beneficial but not essential. IT literate – Excel, Word, Outlook. Take pride in your image - presentation in both appearance and manner is extremely important to us and our patients and reflects the high-quality service that we provide and expect. Be willing to go the extra mile - providing our patients with a memorable dental experience is what we’re all about, and you will have a key role in exceeding our patients’ expectations with your leadership of the team. Experience of managing a team including knowledge of HR processes and compliance. Salary and benefits:
